The training was conducted with the cooperation of training and education unit of Kompas?, one of the biggest pers industries in Indonesia. The main objective of this 84-hour training is to introduce qualitative research methods along with their application to the junior researcher of Kompas (R & D unit). There are eleven participants. Five main topics are presented in the training, namely introduction to qualitative research, data collecting process, data analysis techniques, summary formulation and report writing. Evaluation and a final project are given to the participants by the end of the sessions.
